On November 17th, I mailed my passport to Houston to receive a visa from the Consulate of India.  My passport arrived with the appropriate visa sticker on December 10th.  Today, I mailed my passport to Houston again, this time to secure a visa to enter China.  Houston is the consulate location for residents of 9 Southern states.  […]

I spent the afternoon enjoying the sculptures, drawings and paintings on loan from the Louvre at Atlanta’s High Museum of Art.  These pieces are the first in an unprecendented three-year partnership between the Louvre and High.  It is quite an unusual pairing for the High since its permanent collection is largely modern and contemporary art, but anticipated to be quite popluar and well-attended.  […]
